Minecraft YouTubers. For its most part, grown men screaming over the screen and making cheesy jokes while their fangirls drool all over them. Not productive in any way to society.
Person 1: Omg!! Have you seen Dream? He's a MCYT and he's nothing more than a mediocre boy who makes cheesy, non-offendable jokes but I sure love watching him over a screen while I perpetually stay at home without seeing daylight.

MCYT, an acronym for Minecraft YouTube, is used as a generalised term for YouTubers who mainly make Minecraft content, while also used for variety streamers known similarly for their content in the game. Used by fans on DeviantArt and YouTube in the early 2010's, with the earliest known use of the term online in 2015. Used for major SMPs (Survival Multiplayer) members, though people outside of the fandom's circle mainly use the term to refer to the members of the server 'DreamSMP', without knowing that it ranges to other groups on Minecraft YouTube. (Hermitcraft SMP, Yogscast, Team Crafted, Empires SMP, ect.)
Person A: "I just got into watching MCYT! My top ones right now are Technoblade and Zedaph."
Person B: "Same! My favourite MCYT's are Smallishbeans and Cellbit."

It stands for "minecraft youtubers" A.K.A a bunch of losers that live with their parents playing minecraft all day, whilst 11-16 year old girls drool over them for no apparent reason. Another word for "mcyt" would be the word: "retarded" and "retards" another word for their stans would be the word "obsessed".
