Momo is the name of a statue with big bug eyes and a creepy smile that was made in Japan by a sculptor named Keisuke Aiso. Momo was originally named βMother Birdβ and was created and displayed in 2016 at a museum. Pictures of her then went viral because of how creepy Momo looked. Thus, the βMomo Challengeβ became a thing around the start of 2019. The challenge goes like this: you would get a text from Momo telling you to do something devilish such as stabbing your parents, or cutting off your fingers. This was a curse, and if you didnβt do what Momo instructed, she will come to your house and murder you. Obviously this isnβt real, but it got so out of hand that Momo was then destroyed so parents can tell their children she is dead and have nothing to be afraid of.
John: βHave you heard of the Momo Challenge?β
Jake: βNo, what is it?β
John: Nevermind...
