A spanish word used to describe Latinas who are tanned/dark (i.e., dark hair/brunette, dark eyes, dark skin) in varying degrees. Used in contrast to Gringa or Guedo for a White Latina, Negra for a Black Latina and Asianz aren't usually included in this definition.
Someone as light as Jessica Alba would be considered Morena esp. if she is brunette, through to someone as dark as Christina Millian.

Morena is a spanish term to distinguish dark skin people. Usually of native decent,like azte, mayan decendents as well as native american people or of belonging too. Negro is a term to distinguish a black person, negro meaning black in spanish. THere is also guerro meaning a blonde person from the scandanavian region decent and blanco(white) is a term the spanish gave themselves. There are also white asians but since they have an oriental eye there are usually distinguish another way like chino and are grouped with the south east asians, dark skin for simplidity, or oriental.
Morena and moreno people are usually stocky bone structure and with out being mixed with spanish have oriental eyes.

Also known as Morana, Marana, Mara or Morzana, she is the Slavic goddess of death, rebirth and afterlife. A common tradition is to create an effigy of her on Easter and either burn it and throw it into a river or just yeet it in to the river.

Derived from the Moors, who ruled Spain for 800 years, who are of Arab extraction. Therefore a person of darker complexion than the lighter European races that have inhabited Spain...
This derivation has been largely forgotten and in Mexico refers to any woman of dark complexion...
