outdating

The act of intentionally or unintentionally making someone or something seem old-fashioned, irrelevant, or obsolete. Often used in the context of replacing ideas, technologies, or trends with newer alternatives. Example: "By releasing the latest iPhone, Apple keeps outdating last year’s models."

"She keeps outdating my jokes by referencing memes I’ve never seen."
"That fashion trend got outdating vibes; no one wears that anymore."
