A cajun word used in southern Louisiana that means a fart. It can only be used as a noun and not a verb so you would not say someone "ponted." (See usage below)

Usually (but not always) used as plural: ponts.
Ponts are entities (material or immaterial) that are used to show off and boost one's false sense of self-importance. Ponts can be mentioned, for example, during a conversation as a means of convincing your opponent that you are super cool.
Material ponts are usually possessions: a fast car, big genitals, five girlfriends, a golden watch, etc.
Examples of intangible ponts are: having met a celebrity, having seen Mount Everest, and so on.
"That boy from a rich family is full of ponts, he is always boasting."
"Save your ponts, man, you ain't gonna fool me with them!"

Ponting is the same as 'Dogging' only rather than using an automobile, wheelchairs are used.

Dogging actually derives from the term 'walking the dog'. It is a pastime that has evolved from blokes taking their dogs for walks and stumbling across couples at it in bushes etc. They originally only spied on these couples.
The 'sport' has now become much more organized and seedy - with regular meeting places, and more or less a free-for-all spirit. This year the newly created Ultimate Dogging Championships was held at Rivington nr Chorley, Lancs. Their were many disciplines including 10 Man Train, Pearly Rain, and Most Extreme Slapper. The TV rights to next year's event are currently in negotiation with a Dutch Satellite TV station.
