prima j

Prima J is a Spanish-American pop musical duo, that is composed of mexican cousins Janelle Martinez and Jessica Martinez. They made their debut in 2007 with the single "Rockstar" for the Bratz Motion Picture Soundtrack. They were discovered by former Wild Orchid member Stefanie Ridel.1 They have recently completed the recording of their debut album, which was released on June 17, 2008. Prima J also makes a brief appearance in Bratz, auditioning for the school talent show, and three of the stars of Bratz, Logan Browning, Janel Parrish, and Nathalia Ramos, appear in the Rockstar music video. In the Bratz, they also sang the brief lyrics of "Take It To The Maximum" when Logan Browning had done her cheerleading, "It's My Party" lyrics when Logan Browning was doing the geeky girl lipgloss and gave the geeky girl her necklace in the chapter of the "operation mingle" that Nathalia Ramos had decided on at the lunch courtyard table, and "Kick It" during their audition for the school talent show. The group's name comes from the fact they are cousins (prima is the female version of the Spanish word for cousin) whose names begin with the letter J.They have a new song called "Corazon (Youre Not Alone). The duo has also been compared to Nina Sky, another latin pop duo.

Prior to "Rockstar", they performed the song "Gotta Lotta" for the Disney Channel original movie, Jump In!, which was released on the film's soundtrack. The single "Rockstar" was also featured in the Gossip Girl episode, "Dare Devil".

prima donna

From Italian words meaning "first woman" or "first lady", depending on your preference, the prima donna is the leading lady in a performance, and especially in opera. Can also be called a diva.

Is now often used to describe someone arrogant, vain, or just plain bitchy. Diva and prima donna have become synonomous with a show-off or a bitch, regardless of whether or not the person in question is male or female.

Maria Callas was one of the great dive (DEE-vay) of the twentieth century. A coloratura-spinto soprano, she was determined to be the best of the best on the stage, often singing outside of her natural singing range, which eventually ruined her voice and led to her downfall. This Greek diva was known to give tantrums offstage. Still, her strong, metallic, if not angelic, singing and good sense of high drama enabled her to become a stellar actress and singer.

Fans claim that she was feuding with fellow soprano, the Italian spinto-lyric soprano, Renata Tebaldi, despite the strong friendship between the two singers.

Did you see that?! Charlotte pushed me off the stage and grabbed the spotlight for herself! What a prima donna!
