Pulling a Mark Smith

A friend who cheers for any team that is currently playing against yours.

Also, a friend who always cheers against your team because his/her team gives them nothing to cheer for.

The Vancouver Canucks just beat Chicago and are onto round 2 to face Nashville. James is going to be pretty upset, I wonder if he'll be Pulling a Mark Smith and cheer for the Predators now?

Pulling a Mark Emmert

Wildly overstepping authority and punishing the innocent.

The principal was overstepping his authority and pulling a Mark Emmert when he cancelled the Homecoming Parade for four years, just because the boys' cross country team dressed up as seamen (semen, get it, haha).

Pull a Mark Zuckerberg

Double crossing your family, friends, or any individual for your own personal gain without compensating or crediting them in any regard.

My family member and I went in on a business deal together. I did all the work behind the scenes but after we made money I never imagined they would pull a Mark Zuckerberg.
