The first and founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. (1983)
Led the Turkish Cypriot campaign against greek terrorists aiming to complete their planned genocide against the Turkish Cypriots, known as the Akritas Plan. Single handedly brought the Turkish Cypriots out from fear and enclaved for which they were confined to only 4% of the entire island, to a peaceful and independent republic in the northern part of Cyprus.
