Senpai

Pronounced sen - pie. Also known as Sempai.
A Japanese term used to address someone higher than you politely. E.g. if you are in 4th grade, then anyone in 5th grade or higher is you senpai.
The previous definition is a reference to animated game, Yandere (Yaan - dah - reh) Simulator.

Senpai just finished his/her HSC (higher school certificate), I hope I'll do well when i take my HSC in a few years time.

Senpai

Something that all anime weebs, nerds, and "otaku's", call every freakin person they know.
Usually said in a unusual annoying high pitched voice. Can cause brain damage from hearing it too much.

HELLO SENPAI
BYE SENPAI
HOW WAS YOUR DAY SENPAI

Senpai

In Japan, senpai (先輩 ?) is a mentor or senior and kōhai (後輩 ?) is a protégé or junior. The mentor system is found at all levels of education, and in sports clubs, businesses, and informal or social organizations.

Senpai

A Japanese honorific. It means "upperclassman," "senior," or the like. It has been appropriated for use in America and the West to mean "obsession" by weaboos. They use this word to attract their Tumblr/DeviantArt/etc. crushes or art seniors to give them art tips or recognition when perhaps they didn't deserve it.

Girl 1: *thinking* I really like this person. But they won't talk to me.
Girl 1: *typing* ArkhamGeek1 is my senpai! I couldn't do art like I do without them!
Girl 1: *thinking* With that on my blog page, they'll see how much I like them.
Girl 2: "Hey, Girl 1, using that word like that is appropriation."
Girl 1: "What do you mean? Of course not!"
Girl 2: "But you don't even speak Japanese..."

Senpai

It originates from anime and manga. It's someone older than you. Someone you look up to. If they give the slightest attention to you, you sort of explode. They are just really admired by you and if you are a senpai, bask in it!

"Senpai actually said hi to me today!"
