A common method of punishment in years past. To write The Sentence was dreaded by loud-mouthed students from public and private schools alike.
The Sentence reads as follows:
"It has been brought to my immediate attention that I have not done as I have been repeatedly requested to do: that I not talk, pester, tease, bother, be rude, or otherwise inhibit the learning opportunities of my fellow classmates; in the future, i will endeavor to comply with these requests with as much courtesy and speed as is humanly possible."
The Sentence is grammatically correct.
Student: *says something ignorant*
Teacher: "That's four of The Sentence, or it'll be 50 lashes with a wet spaghetti noodle."

A remark of approval following an elaborate act of speech (i.e. trumps 'word!', but is less dramatic than 'Paragraph!')
Person A - "The hypocrisy of this system so often gets me down, hegemonic brutality gives me creases in my brow"
