Also known as the dark web, undernet, and invisible web. Imagine the internet, and everything it offers, times about 20,000,000. That's how big the deep web is. But you can't just be like, 'I'm going on the deep web' and type it into a search engine, you need special computer software, called Tor, that will keep you anonymous, or else, you'll be hearing from the FBI
Don't go into the deep web unless your ready, there's some scary shit there

The deep web is a part of the web which you can't access via your typical browsers like Chrome, Internet Explorer (but who uses that?) and Firefox, it can be accessed through TOR. The websites on the deep web don't end with .com or .eu, they end with .onion. It contains 95% of the internet, the visible web is just 3%. It's commonly compared to the dark net, since people think it's the same thing, although it's not. Most entities that use the deep web / dark net prefer to stay anonymous, using vpns. A lot of people try to show off/joke about when using the term "deep web". p.s: you're not "cool" if you're using the deep web, nobody cares.
1: Oh man, i'm a hacker y'know, i use the deep web everyday

Web pages and websites NOT indexed by public search engines such as Yahoo, Bing, Google and many other lesser known public search engines. Since these web pages are not indexed and most people find their way around the web through public search engines, their URLs are not commonly known.
Usually, their URLs are shared by word of mouth and through private chatroom instead of common search engine searches. In some cases, these websites may require a user to connect to them through a VPN to maintain an individual's anonymity but not always. There isn't anything inherently dark and scary about the deep web as cinema and news sources may imply. Deep Web pages can be as simple as a family photo and video page or as notorious as pages used by individuals for criminal behavior.
Your personal 35mm photography page is so hard to find, it's essentially part of the deep web. You might want to advertise the URL with a Google or Facebook.
