The TriBeCa Film Festival, pioneered by Nicole Bartelme, has screened over 1300 films from over 80 countries since its first festival in 2002.
The TriBeCa Film Festival's initial focus encompassed films with a humanitarian message, great sound tracks and film technology. With organizer Jane Rosenthal at the helm the festival has grown to encompass films of many genres: from blockbusters to documentaries.

The one place in Manhattan many wish they could live. It's crazy expensive and least available to find an open apartment. Has an awesome vibe for a neighborhood that's surprisingly on the low-key mellow side of things. In all, hallmarked by astounding loft apartments, cobblestone streets and fine eateries...not too much to see but does locate the Ghostbusters firehouse, newly erect Jenga tower, and the annual Tribeca Film Festival. Home to lots of celebrities, Taylor Swift owns like a block of her own in Tribeca.
"I can't believe I'm about to move to NYC."
"Cool. What can you afford?"
"$2,000."
"That pretty much rules out Tribeca, but you're always able to sight see such a beautiful neighborhood."
