Chavs and neds say this to everyone.
Sort of like calling people 'pure gothic bams', 'big junkies', or 'y'bam'
These neds are the bane of Scottish society, They have nothing better to do...... I digress.
Basicly, Neds sy this and it's meant to be insulting.
'Yer ma, y'bam'
'Ah pure had yer ma'
'so did yer ma'

Yer ma is an insult often used by "mokes", "steeks", "spides" and "millies".
Basically it means your mother, often return firing an insult, or saying I had (slept) with your mother.
Return fire with something like "You did mate.. I would seriously consider visiting a doctor about that, coulda caught something" "What would you rate her? 8 out of 10? She's good isn't she?" "My "You dug her up from the ground you sick bastard?!" "She's dead" (I hate this one..) "She's had a lot of people you know."
"AHhh You're crap!"
"Ay yer ma!
(Listen to my audio definition.. it's of how a steek would pronounce it)

a northern irish version of "ya mum".
The normal reply to it would be "aye, yer's ma's ma"
or "smell yer ma"
mind you, the conversation ( if you could call it that) could also start with smell yer ma, depending on what mood you're in.
me - "yer ma"
you - "yer ma's ma"
me - " aye, smell yer ma"
and so on...

Irish equivalent of 'your mother', 'yo momma', 'ya mam', etc. Generally used as wonderfully nonsensical response to a question (especially a stupid one).
Adrian: Bob, where do you want to have lunch?
Bob: Yer ma!
Adrian: Well, you sure showed me up for the idiot I am. Oh man!
