Formed as a contamination of 'bone' and the suffix '-ify', seemingly analogous to 'petrify' or 'ossify', but consisting of a Germanic stem and a suffix of Latin origin.

Her mesh was static so I had to rig her. She's got an armature, but her form was roughly rectangular, with many parts and no weighted bones; so I used bonify, (a plugin that I just made) for Blender to add bones to her, better. ( bones are control points for digital 3D models. )
