Contradiction

Lying. Saying something and doing the opposite.

Do as I say, not as I do because the shit's so deep you can't run away.

I beg to differ. On the contrary, I agree with every word that you say.

My wallet's fat and so is my head.

Contradiction

An argument that can be turned either way; one where you have no more or less higher ground than your opposition.

Note: people with a podium or any method of voicing an opinion believe they have the higher ground.

Gays boycott companies that don't accept gays. This is the companies choice, people. They don't have to agree with you.

or

Gays boycott companies that don't accept gays. This is the persons choice. They don't have to agree with every company.

That sentence was a contradiction, it really did nothing to further your point.

Contradiction

Verb - When a person says something, and the person who said it, does the opposite of what he/she said.

(He eats at McDonalds despite telling other people not too.)

"Don't date her, she's not a good influence."
(Then he turns around and dates her, despite what he earlier said.)
"Why would you contradict yourself like that?"

Contradiction

"Compassionate Conservative."

I am a compassionate conservative. Please excuse me, I need to go join the army so I can kill - no, I mean "help" - the people in Iraq.

How come some people can have examples without the word and I can't?
