feature creep

A term used to describe extra features being included in a project, after the project was supposedly already closed to new features.

I thought we were nearly done with this computer program, but feature creep from marketing means we'll be working for another 2 weeks at least.

feature creep

what Mark CIO cries for in his sleep. Sees it as a good thing not as a bad.

Letting the dozy clients add more work without extending the deadline.

Mark won't do anything about all this feature creep, it's like getting 1,000 cold henrys!

Feature creep

Feature creep means too many unwanted features that clearly don't fit the original design and/or purpose.

Elari KidPhone 3G is a kids' smartwatch, it already had shitty battery life, but they added a MP3 player! That's some of the wildest feature creep I've ever seen in a firmware update!
