Although at one point, a supposed "skater" shoe, people now just wear etnies because they're comfortable. Real skaters hate them - and who can blame them? It made it look like you could buy something they base they're lives on in a store! But they aren't considered skater shoes anymore, as a lot of people where them because A) they're comfortable, or B) last a long time. Of course, there's still posers who think they are *super* *hardcore* skater for buying (which they aren't), but it doesn't seem to make a difference anymore.
In my small-ass mountain town, everyone wore shoes like Etnies or Vans- and none of us even knew they were condsidered skate shoes (we wore them for comfort, and that they survived for years).

Etnies have really nice shoes and I love the sweaters and T-shirts. They are mostly like a skateboarding brand and other extreme sports

nice skate shoes if you ignore the poser one with the gay E that looks lke an M but if u look beyond them you will actually find nice etnies that wont label you a poser

cool shoes that posers wear, and real skaters are stuck looking like posers for having them, pacsun sucks, and etnies has other cool shoes that posers dont wear

1. The most awesomest shoes to ever be on this planet, (besides Chuck Taylor's). Posers like to wear them, but also realy skaters,(like me), wear them! Posers need to freaking get a clue when it comes to picking out their outfits in the morning! Bmx, snowboarding, and any other hard core sport also is supported by these shoes an clothing line.
