A type of leg-ware, similar to Capri pants, but worn by males. They are longer than shorts, but shorter than regular pants, usually falling about 3/4 the length of the leg.

'Mostly Harmless' means something more than not harmless.
My dog is Mostly Harmless, it probably won't bite you.

In an attempt to backpedal from saying something shady or rude, one might say they're "mostly kidding." What this really means is they, or some part of them, actually means what they said but doesn't want the directed person to know it.
-"Oh my gosh, your laugh sounds like a crow being strangled!"
-"Excuse me?"
-"Don't sound so offended. I was mostly kidding."
During the start of the Portland BLM riots in 2019 burning and looting run rampant. Biased news media CNN reported, quote “Fiery but mostly peaceful protests” despite the fact in the live report there was a burning in the background.
This quote now used in scenarios when pointing out hypocritical facts when the subject seems to be oblivious to.
The committee conducted a fiery but mostly peaceful conversation, surly they were considering the pleas of us the working class.
