The new "Politically Correct" term for those who suffer from mental disabilities or illnesses. however, it ironically sounds more insulting than simply saying that they have X illness.
"Politically Correct" Person: "Hey, Phil. Your kid is neurodivergent, right?"
Phil: "What the hell does that mean."

When a neurodivergent person neurodiverges or is neurodiverging (making the noun "neurodivergent" into a verb) it means they are exhibiting neurodivergent cognition and behaviors.
My student said something that did not make sense to me. Her neurodivergence was neurodiverging.
I neurodiverge every day and people make me feel like an outsider. Whatever!

A Neurodivergent Attachment, or ND/A for short, is when someone who is neurodivergent attaches themself to a character who is related to a special interest/hyper fixation. The person knows the aren't real, but sometimes may pretend they are for comfort reasons.
Neurodivergent Attachments are healthy as long as they don't take up the person's identity or turn into a false reality.
Alot of people see this as being clingy with a fictional character, and that's ok! It basically is that but alittle deeper. - holy-smokes carrd
