Nougat

A term of endearment which refers to people with mostly white and pink skin colouring.

Named loosely after the French nut and honey confectionery which was adapted by Barratts' into a wrapped sweet.

It's origins lie in the reclamation of pigment equality and the removal of white guilt for the injustices of the hegemonic elite of yesteryear.

It is a cultural badge of peace and only represents those without prejudice towards others skin tones.

A man sees a Caucasian man he is friends with and says "What's up my nougat?"

Not a sweet, but a mispronounced word.

Nu:Ga not Nugget.

People who can’t pronounce it properly are generally Jim’lls.

I found a nugget of nougat in my most excellent sweet treat - which was oddly shaped like a cock.

Pronounced "New-gat"

This is the yummy scrummy soft sweet stuff that is in various chocolate bars. Not the American crap chocolate, the proper British stuff that actually tastes of chocolate.

Cadbury's is the best British chocolate manufacturer.

The best example of this is the Cadbury's Double Decker chocolate bar. The chocolate bar is lightly flavoured with coffee and structured in two layers; an upper whipped nougat layer (yummy), with a lower layer of cereal β€˜crispies’, these are then coated in milk chocolate.
