Overstanding

Overstanding is both the understanding of a thing & the implication of a thing.

Where the understanding of a thing may provide ones approach, handling, and control of a thing, overstanding can add both effect and the implication of a thing over time. Overstandings equate to the wisdom of things within ones understanding of things.

Overstand

To see a case scenario from every aspect as total different ideas or beliefs are understood non-emotionally as a philosopher.

To not emotionally only understand something by only seeing it one way.

Overstandment

When you are in a relationship and either party has an exaggerated sense of the level of commitment or understanding you have between you, even though no real commitment or understanding has been discussed.

I think I have an overstandment with Jane. I told her I didn't want to have a relationship and wasn't into commitment, but now that we're having sex she's already talking about when we are getting engaged.
