patronize

Well, 'patronizing' means to talk to someone as if they were stupid. Understand now? Good! :)

"And if you're a very good boy for the doctor, you might even get a lollipop!"

"Mom, I'm fifteen. Don't patronize me."

Patronizer

A person who talks down to people, who thinks they are superior to everyone else. They are very condescending in nature. In other words a complete bitch or asshole.

A patronizer will say things like "Stop that or I will make you go sit in the corner" or "That's a conversation for outside of this office". They will say things like this and use a patronizing or condescending tone of voice.
