A dance popular in the 1930s and 1940s, done in a squatting position,with the hands on the floor and rotating the legs round and round,thus resembling the motion of a pinwheel. It is often performed in theatrical revues and follies.
Mike,Wade,Eric,Pat,Gary,Brock,Scott,Musa,Todd,and Tony are all good at doing the pinwheel. Each of them has performed it in the Thanksgiving Follies scene in South Pacific.

When using a Mac and your cursor become an infinitely spinning pinwheel. Often occurring when a programme crashes or when too many applications are opened/being opened at once.
While opening my Adobe software and watching videos online at the same time I was hypnotized by Mac's colourful pinwheel.
