Phrase coined by the Russian Executive Officer from the movie The Hunt for Red October, but can be applied to just so many questionable situations before being overtaken by impending disaster.
Captain Tupolev: Inquire with the engineer about going to 105 percent on the reactor.
Andrei Bonovia โ Konovalov: Captain, engineer reports 105 percent on the reactor - possible, but not recommended.
Long pause

The most popular type of revenge towards others on this site. An abused part of this website.
Whenever someone Psycho Bitch doesn't like posts something, even not about her, she deletes it. Yet she does the same and is angry when they delete hers.

Something required for an application, contest, audition, etc. if one wants to have any chance of moving forward or succeeding. While one is technically allowed to give a submission without the "strongly recommended" material, their submission will likely be ignored.
The job application states that having an elementary school diploma is "strongly recommended," so you better have one to stand a chance.
See NRFW. A middle ground between SFW and NSFW.
"Well it doesn't have dick or pussy in it so it's not NSFW, but its still turning me on so it's not SFW, what is it?!"
"It's NRFW: Not Recommended For Work"
What happens to bullshit definitions.
This definition of "window" is "well-shaved vagina." I don't know what the hell this is, I'm recommending it for deletion.

The feeling of showing a video to a friend and realizing early on that they're not enjoying it at all, but you feel too awkward to turn it off so you both sit there trapped until the video ends.

We live in a time where options for the consumption of entertainment media is extremely saturated. We have never had more choice.
So much so, that the general person typically requires a significantly high level of encouragement from a variety of sources to reach the threshold of โgiving inโ to a recommendation by consuming the piece of media in question.
The problem is, the threshold is so high, that by the time one โgives inโ they are often disappointed, as often no piece of media is able to meet the exaggerated levels of hype required to push the person to consume it in the first place.
Thus, the human race is effectively broken in our capacity to effectively deliver recommendations as there only exists two states. Underselling, and overselling.
โJono has been telling me to play Hades like everyday for the past 6 months, I finally gave in and it wasnโt that good.โ
โWell I guess thatโs just the recommendation paradox for ya!โ
