When you go into the other room to get something or do something, and end up getting food instead. (Even though the thing you were about to get or do had nothing to do with food and only passed the kitchen.)
I went to get my headphones from the other room, ended up having a snackcident.

Friend 1: A Malteser rolled on the floor right next to my dogs mouth. Woke him up from a nap and ate it.
Friend 2: omg, that is such snackcident!
when you are eating potato chips and are watching youtube at the same time and you accidentally eat all the chips
