The 9A-91 is a Russian carbine assault rifle produced in 1994. The typical design features a 20-round magazine and can fire 9x36mm rounds at 700-900 rounds per minute, and has an average range of 100 meters, making it a suitable weapon for close-quarters combat combined with the 9x36mm's stopping power. The 9A-91 is used by Russian police forces. This gun was featured in the video game Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

A civilian market clone of the Heckler & Koch G3/HK91 configured to abide by the US assault weapons ban. Chambered for .308 Winchester ammunition, it comes in a variety of different models with different options such as folding/collapsable stocks, piccatinny rails, barrel lengths and finishes.
It is made in Portugal from licensed H&K manufacturing equipment and is identical in nearly every respect to the original HK 91. It has been featured in many gun magazines and is widely regarded as a solid weapon, the equal to or better than its predecessor in every respect while generally being cheaper.
