Slang for the endless stream of thoughts that plague your mind, one after the other, especially when trying to fall asleep.

I had a bad case of the thinks last night.

Thinking

A complex process that typically involves head scratching and "Hmm" noises, and is often followed by an "aha!" in normal people, or a stupid comment in cheerleaders.

Steve: Suzy, do you want to go to the movies with me tonight?

Suzy: I can't; I'm thinking.

what you normally do after you mess something up bad... if we could go back in time thinking would happen more often, as it is, its more of an afterthought that should have happened before you did it.

The word date back from early 90's, when during a conversation between two person one needed to describe something but the word "pensive" was not suited to the sentence and thinking was too immediate.

"You seemed very thinkative today Jim! Is there anything wrong?"
