Trash talk

Boastful often hyperbolic speech intended to inflame, humiliate or demean, usually in gest.

If one wins a tennis match 6-0 and then observes the losing opponent struggling to lift something heavy, they may trash talk by saying "That's weak like your tennis game". However, it would be inappropriate and somewhat stupid for the losing opponent to say this to the winning opponent.

2. v. the pontificating monologue that comes out of the average alcoholic when no one is around to listen.

1) The trash-talk dump listened painfully, hoping for a break in the monologue in which to make an exit.

2) Having driven everyone away, she did a trash-talk dump just to hear herself speak.
