soul mates

Soul mates by definition are two completely strangers who meet unexpectedly in life and feel this unbreakable bond which hides true love, unbelievable desire, passion and the wiliness to find each other in life. When god made us, he made us complete and pure with no ounce of sanity or hate in our soul. He cut us in half and separated us to two people and the purpose of true love and the meaning of your soul mate is to find your other half, it will take time but if the person has faith, courage and desire to find it then god will find the best time to show him or her the path in order to find his or hers other half or soul mate.

soul food

The term Soul Food originated from the cuisine developed by the African slaves mainly from the American South. A dark period in the history of the United States resulted in a cuisine fashioned from the meager ingredients available to the slave and sharecropper black families. The meat used was usually the least desirable cuts and the vegetables, some bordering on weeds, were all that was available for the black slaves to prepare nutritious meals for their families. From these meager ingredients evolved a cuisine that is simple yet hearty and delicious. Every ethnic group has what it calls "soul food" - soothing, comfort food that brings back warm memories of family dinners, however, today, the term "soul food" simply means African-American cuisine.

Soul Mate

Its a... well itโ€™s like a best friend but more. Its the one person who knows you better then everyone else. Its the one who makes you a better person, actually they donโ€™t make you a better person you do that yourself, because they inspire you. Its the one person who... knew you and exsepted you. Who believed in you before anyone else did, when no one else would.

Girl #1: OMG did you see him/her today they are so inspiring!!
Girl #2: Yup heโ€™s my soul mate!!
Girl #1: YOU ARE SO LUCKY ๐Ÿ€

cold soul

A witty, sarcastic response to someone making a snide remark against you to an action they find unpleasant or rude.

A means to put the weight of the action back on the person questioning it to begin with. By asserting you have a Cold Soul, you are suggesting you are soulless and therefore can't empathize with their plight. Instead of merely justifying or deflecting your actions through dismissiveness, your putting the burden of reason back on the accuser. Your asking them to examine the severity of the action they deem intolerable, and doing it in the contextual framework of soullessness.

You're at the movies making loud, crunching sounds as you eat the hard pretzels purchased from the concession stand.

After the movie is over, some patrons approach you and say your loud, crunching sounds were quite rude and distracting.

Your response: I guess I just have a Cold Soul.

Catapult Soul

That long novel that gives props to hip-hop.

Catapult Soul flow: "The lionโ€™s share of Hip-Hopโ€™s life has been contaminated with misconceptions; namely, that its essence is misogynistic, homophobic, unintelligent, derivative, and a catalyst for drugs, violence, and crimes that support the Machiavellian cause. But perhaps before one speaks on it, one must first overstand big puns and da LA soul, da NY soul, and every soul of mischief, living legend, and public enemy that tries to come in between the two. And perhaps one shouldnโ€™t assume that whatโ€™s promoted through the Industry is reflective of whatโ€™s found in the Underground, where, in the roots, music originates, establishes its cause, and stays true to it, as long as it doesnโ€™t come up to touch the grass. Ya digg?"
