This is a little different than a forum whore, but a forum rape is when a person spams a forum (with both spam and helpful posts). Forum raping is not considered spamming, however it is used sometimes to raise one's post count.

Somebody who patrols an interweb forum or message board and uses childish tactics and droll wit. An absolute detriment to the intelegence to an internet group or society as a whole.

These are forums and message boards where posters can put characters from the same or different fictional universes against each other in theoretical battles and users will usually debate about the outcome and the victor of the battle. The most popular vs. forums are comicvine, animevice, killermovies, moviecodec, comic book resources, factpile, herochat and outskirts battle dome. They might sound fun at first to have different characters from different fictional universes to fight each other, but the forums are normally less than fun. There are normally hordes of fan wankers, fan boys, and trolls who lurk around the forums that tend to try and steer the conversation away from the topic at hand or try to convince people that their favorite character would win the battle.
A vs forum is one of the worst places to have debates about fictional characters in fictional, theoretical battles that will never happen.

A forum on Day of Defeat's official website plagued by morons and moderator abuse. After Valve's acquisition of the Day of Defeat team, the quality of this board has gone downhill dramatically due to strict censorship. Many believe this forum will be shutdown within a matter of months, even weeks.
Oh no, you posted about downloading music on KaZaA. Time to ban you because the big corporation known as Valve doesn't want you talking about that now. Goodbye! Congrats to the DoD team on being a bunch of sellouts!

Started in the mid-1960s during the peace movement, forum whores became the bane of city council members everywhere. The term was used as a derogatory one by the council members themselves who were fed up with hippies interrupting town meetings with what they considered to be rhetoric.
Council member: "Oh crap! The forum whores just walked into the meeting."
Forum whores: "No more war! No more war!"
