This ends NOW

Statement uttered in a testosterone fog, in a deep voice, when the absolute maximum tolerable insult has been reached. It is a preface to the mother-of-all fights, but said by the one who is doomed to lose spectacularly. Whether it is the bully that keeps coming back, a villain that keeps getting their villainous plot foiled by a superhero, or just that you would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling kids, it all ends now.

Hero: "You stink at being a bad guy"
Brute: "We'll see about that" turns and leaves
Hero: "... and you're ugly too"
Brute: *grunts* keeps walking
Hero: "... and your mom in her fursuit is pretty hawt in bed"
Brute: stops and turns "This ends NOW!" charges, dies hilariously

now and laters

Plural noun: Assorted pharmaceutical, over the counter, or homemade (illegal) pills taken for recreation; referred to as "Now and Laters" because of their resemblance to candy and often used in bulk as if they were candy.

Now Hiring

This is what places of business put in their window or other prominent location, usually in the form of a sign, banner, or other such thing when they are seeking new employees.

Sometimes seen in newspaper advertisements as well.

These words pop up everywhere after school lets out for the summer. (sometimes in the form of Help Wanted, Positions Available, or other similar terms).

For many, this presents an opportunity to get a summer job and make some money - whether to save for school, material possessions, or simply the future. This is perfectly fine and is what the majority of us students seem to do.

For others, however, these two simple words are most unwelcome because we simply wish to chill out and enjoy the warm weather and short freedom from school.

It's not that we're all a bunch of lazy slackers, druggies, or whatever - some of us are have a great work ethic and aspirations for the future - we just want to have a leisurely summer break (after working our a**es off all year in high school or college).

When parents, family, or other older adults see this sign, they nag us incessantly to sacrifice our well-deserved vacation and apply for a job.

Dad: Hey son, I saw a Now Hiring sign at the local grocery store. You need to go get a job.
Me: Damn.

Come On Now

A word used by MTPs (management training programs) across the universe for a variety of reasons. 1. To let someone know that they are sweatin' you too much. 2. To let someone, or something, know to hurry up. 3. To express frustration. 4. To let people know that their taking way too long bringing the natural lights back from the white trash bbq. 5. To tell people know that it's cool to drink and drive. 6. In response to dropping a weight on someone's head. They may need stitches, but come on

3. Come on now.
