NERDING

To go "nerding" means that you and a few buddies drive around grounds (aka campus) after a long night of drinking (with a sober driver of course...usually a pledge) between the hours of bars closing and frat parties ending (2-5 am), and proceed to ask drunk 1st years going back to dorms and nerdy foreign kids leaving the various libraries, where a certain library on grounds is located. The catch is that you have to butcher the name of the library slightly, so that the victim of the joke corrects you. Once the victim does this, you and the rest of the fellas in the SUV proceed to yell "NERRRRDDD" to the kid while speeding off to the next contestant.

NERDING:

The driver pulls up to the unsuspecting victim and someone in the car asks: "Hey man, do you know where we could find Akerman Library?"

The dumb victim responds (usually hesitant): "Don't you mean Alderman Library?"

Everyone then yells: "NERRRRRRRRRRRDD" and the car speeds away.

Nerd

A stereotypical label a group of intellectually depraved peers often maintain on select examples of promising, brilliant individuals too busy with academic and scholastic endeavors to indulge in the superficial trivialities of seeking social approval or popularity.

As such, the group of good-for-nothing trash provide themselves with a crude rationalization of their position in the social strata.

Dumb shit 1:"Hey look, it's that one nerd we knew back in college."

Dumb shit 2: "Oh, wait. That guy is a fucking millionaire..."

Dumb shit 1: *Genuine surprise* "Oh, shit!"

Nerd

a person of high intelligence or drive at a certain hobby. Stereotypes portray them as:

-ugly
-wearing glasses
-bad sense of fashion
-allergic to almost everything
-scrawny
-computer loving

ect.
The inconvienent truth for jocks about these Stereotypes is that only 10% of the geek and/or nerd population even has many of the traits listed above

Girl 1:"Omg marcus was reading a Harry Potter Book hes such a nerd."

Girl 2: "I like harry potter."

nerd

Someone who excels at a certain subject. Usually have good grades in every subject.

Often confused with geeks, which do not have to be smart. A geek is someone who is generally; not athletic, enjoys video games, comic books, star trek, yugioh, etc. based off Sknywhtboy88's definition of geek.

As I am a nerd, I can say that it is offensive to call a nerd a geek.

That nerd is really smart.
