Why the Fuck Not?

When you're so thrilled or excited, your best friend suggests doing something ABSOLUTELY stupid, and you go along with it because...well...

Why the fuck not?

Why did you shoot fireworks off your yacht while on a bender? It's September.
Why the fuck not?

Yeah why

Just to annoy somebody you continue to say yeah why just to be a smart a** (frozen refrence)

Person 1: Do you know where the bathrooms are?
Person 2: yeah why?
Person 1: well can you tell me?
person 2: yeah why?

why train

When you reply to a answer or statement by simply saying 'why'
When you get your second answer, you'll just answer 'why' again, and so on.

Put simply; a good way to annoy someone.

"You know what? I'm going to get the teacher annoyed with a why train."
--
"So, Why is school cancelled this friday?"
"It's because we need to do Professional development."
"Why?"
"Because teachers need to learn as well."
"Why?"
"Because we don't know everything."
"But Why?"

Why O'Clock

That terrible time of night when you are lying there in the dark, staring up at the ceiling, asking whatever deity to which you subscribe why in the world you are still awake and cannot (pleasedeargod) get to sleep because you have to be up in 2 hours. Not caffeine or stress related. When spoken, heavy tone of desperation on the "why". Often associated with fear of knowing the sun will be up soon and looking like you were hit by a train that day.

I couldn't drag myself out of bed this morning because I was lying awake at "why o'clock", replaying the last scene from Halo 3 over and over in my head, worrying about my taxes, and humming the Family Guy theme song. I wanted to cry.
