A recently formed government sector of law and order tasked with monitoring social media for any words considered offensive that current day.
Initially the division was formed with pure intent with the goal to shade people who are shit at comedy so they do not continue pursuing a career in it, but recently there has been an unsanctioned shift in the direction of preventing all comedy because humour is the enemy of progress and cannot be tolerated under any circumstance.
Recent studies have shown that people find the division a waste of tax payers money and want them to be disbanded.
So far there have been no arrests and average sentences result in pointless cancel attempts on twitter which don't work, suggesting that people consider them a joke, which unfortunately means they will have to cancel themselves as no jokes are allowed by their own standards
"Did you hear the joke police tried to cancel Ricky Gervais?"
"lol good luck, they'll be gona long before he is"
A joke that is over your head, like a ceiling. You don't understand it at all.
#1 - "What if soy milk is simply regular milk trying to introduce itself in Spanish?"
#2 - "Dude I don't know Spanish, that's a fucking ceiling joke."
When an Ash Joke is made, most of the room appreciate the incredibly clever, often witty, nature of the joke. The joke can often go over less clever people’s heads, creating the illusion the person who created the Ash Joke is stupid. This could not be further from the truth. The Ash Joke joker can remain smug at the fact that the stupid people therefore think that they are stupid. The irony.
Damn, the guy at work made an Ash Joke and I was the only one that appreciated it. The rest thought he was stupid but in fact they are the stupid ones.
That guy is either stupid or he just made an Ash Joke.
When someone makes a joke that is so impressively clever that everyone else in the room wished they thought of it first. They are often witty and can go over the heads of those inferior.
Guys, I totally got Ash Joked at work today.
One day, your joke level will hit Ash Joke level.
a way of saying something is not serious or a joke, or ridiculing something... can also be used to laugh at something sometimes

On April 3, everyone would be allowed to make a “Ur Momma” joke without dying of cringe.
“Time to go make billions of ur momma jokes without dying of cringe because it’s National Ur Momma Joke Day!”
Any of several well-known "door-tap pun" verbal exchanges which involve either an offer ("Howard", "Tijuana", etc.) or a request ("Woodrow", "Kudu", etc.) by da speaker to da listener; often, said query is proffered in said manner in an effort to lighten da mood and add a little humor to said proposal, in order to hopefully take some of da sting outta da expressed idea, which might involve less-than-desirable aspects such as difficult/yucky/tedious labor, significant changes in habits/lifestyle such as being more active and/or giving up "comfort" foods, etc.
A lot of da utility knock-knock joke selections are somewhat "interchangeable" as far as their "request" or "offer" status --- i.e., a word dat's mostly intended for proposing an assistive/generosity action by da speaker to da listener (such as "Howard you like me to _?", or "Tijnana do/have _?") can also be used by da speaker for asking for assistance/charity from da listener (such as, "Howard you feel about doing _?", or "Tijuana volunteer to _?"). Or by da same token, a gigglingly-uttered conversing dat uses a word which is usually reserved for giving-of-time/resources appeals can also be used by da speaker to extend an offer of help to da listener, such as, "Woodrow like me to _?", or "Kudu let me help you out by _?"
