The M Word

Melanin is the "M" word. Media outlets must have a "Melanin memo" somewhere telling them to never ever use the word melanin. #ABC #CBS #NBC #CNN #FOX #BBC #PBS #RT #ALJAZEERA all are in compliance.

"Broadcasters are to never use The M Word melanin. In referring to African people whether on the continent or in the diaspora the terms 'people of color' or 'black people' note lowercase b is the standard. "

G-word

Used in place of the word "God" when uttering phrases containing said word.

Coined by myself during my childhood for comedic use. I always felt saying "Oh my gosh!" sounded too... goody two-shoes.
I figure I created it based on the term "F-word" as a substitute for the expletive, "F**k".

Oh my G-word! ... What in G-word's name are ya doin'!?!?

Say Words

A certain way that you can answer your cell when you are in a major rush. You have no time to mess around with proper greetings. If the person calling does not say words quickly enough, you hang up. They can try again later.

*Ring Ring Ring*
You: "Say Words!"
Caller: *Silence for 5 seconds*
You: *Click - Hangs Up Phone*

Later....
*Ring Ring Ring*
You: "Say Words"
Caller: "Hey loser, did you hang up on me earlier?"
You: "Hell yes I did, you know when I answer "Say Words" that I'm not messing around."
Caller: "Damn, I forgot about that."

Loss of words

A phrase used as an excuse to not say anything. Typically used to politely not talk to "friends" you actually don't want to be friends with.

Person 1: Why don't you ever talk to me anymore? Do you not want to be my friend?
Person 2: Sorry, I've been at a loss of words lately.
