An expression used to describe when the person on the other end of a texting conversation is not likely to respond and is, therefore, essentially nonexistent. Thus, one may as well be texting a wall. Some people exhibit this behavior periodically; for others, it is a habitual thing.
Similar to calling a wall.

(v) when you are 'drunk with sleep' or overly tired and send a text as if you were drunk; may result in not remember ever sending said text. This text is often either vulgar, gibberish, extremely honest, or angry.

On one day a year, nobody texts their crush (unless there’s an emergency).
This means that if you don’t get a text from your crush, then perhaps she/he might like you back. In any case it relieves some stress and you have an excuse not to text her/him.
