Term used for the XM1014 or, Leone YG1265 (as it was previously known), Auto Shotgun in the Counter-Strike series of online multiplayer first person shooter games. Named for being a large bore weapon for new players, the shotgun is overpowered, has a high rate of fire, and does not require much aiming. This enables noobs to run and gun up close, which is the only way they can get kills as they can't aim. Named after the trial weapon code of the USMC, it's really the Benelli M4 shotgun.
All the other definitions assigning the term's definition to more modern games are from ignorant kids who don't appreciate what came before them.
"&#^$^!!! I just got the butt-sex from some chode with a noob tube from behind!"
An extremely overpowered weapon in a video game that inexperienced players (noobs) tend to spam.
It is named for the grenade launcher attachment to assault rifles in COD. Due to the fact that it requires zero effort to use, new players tend to spam it a lot. Plus it looks like a tube, hence the name "Noob Tube."
It is also available in the GMOD gamemode Prop Hunt, although in this case it's a necessary evil because the 1hp props can be frustrating to kill.
A character specifically designed to be easier or more spammy for newer players in a fighting game.
Me: Man, Strider Hiryu, Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto, Jin, and Captain Commando are such noob characters.
Doug: Don't forget M. Bison, Akuma, Ryu, Ken, and Guile.
Michael: Man. You guys are good at fighting games and hoopin? Come on,
Someone who stands on magical tiles wearing a hat, while taunting his enemies by constantly moving on the spot and refusing to leave his perch above the tiles.
Loser: Ugh, you’re such a NOOB CAMPER!
When a noob (new member) says dumb stuff and need to leave a group. The noob is removed from the group while the members toy with him first.
It is time from Armon Fart's noob swing!
