red arrow

As with most office slang, the term "Red Arrow" can mean almost anything you want and fluctuates within the context that it is used. Generally speaking it means to redirect something as an avoidance of taking on a task, but has also been used in terms of a rushed job that requires immediate attention.

"I don't feel like dealing with all this paper work, I'm gonna go ahead and Red Arrow this over to someone else so I can make happy hour."
or
"This was supposed to be dealt with yesterday, you better Red Arrow this over to marketing ASAP!"

Blue Arrow

Describes a member of a team that denotes basic level of skill and communication in accomplishing the simplest of team-based tasks.

Largely in reference to Call of Duty: World at War and subsequent titles, with blue arrows on the minimap indicating members of the player's own squad - usually the only competent teammates in the game.

Always used in direct contrast of "green arrow", which is the exact opposite of gaming excellence.

Squad Member: "Help, I'm down - can someone revive me?"
Blue Arrow: "Sure. By the way I heard the shot, sprinted across the map, gutted the man who dropped you plus two of his friends, dove on a rogue grenade, and called in a gunship for cover. You know I got your back."

Three Arrows

A socdem (social democratic) political symbol that had its beginnings in the Iron Front (Weimar Republic's version of Antifa) that consisted predominantly by members of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). It symbolizes their resistance against the Nazis and it was their answer to the Swastika.

Each of the arrows represents their struggle and resistance against a different enemy.

The first arrow represents the resistance against reactionary conservatism โ€” which at the time were the monarchists.
The second arrow represents the resistance against fascism โ€” which at the time were the Nazis.
The third arrow represents the resistance against communism โ€” which at the time were the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). The socdems had an overwhelming fear, that the Bolsheviks in the Soviet Union were calling the shots in the KPD.

The symbol is still used today, albeit the meaning of the three arrows and what they represent is in constant flux.

Carlo Mierendorff: "Ugh, listen, we need something as cool as the swastika or the hammer and sickle too."
Sergei Chakhotin: "What if we went around town crossing out the Swastikas with three arrows?"
Carlo Mierendorff: "Sounds great, but what if a Bruised Turd will start to use this name hundred years from now?"
