Escape the night is a show on YouTube. It has different YouTubers based on a scary,Action and drama. They do different challenges and in every episode someone dies. There is two seasons starting a third season next year.

To have commitments the next day, esp. in the morning, eg interviews, work, dates etc, that prevents you from doing something (usually fun and stupid) on that night.
Originated, (obviously) when having to go to bed early because school was the next day.
I'd love to get drunk and stay out all night with you guys, but it's a school night!

This term describes a way to not see what's right in front of you. The person who, figuratively, wears his/her sunglasses at night turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to unfavorable situations.
I need my sunglasses at night because I don't want to believe this.

To have sex with someone discretely; implying that no one knows that you have done it-- it stays silent between everyone who wasn't the person you did.
Michelle totally had a Silent Night, but she kept denying it.
