Small Group

A group of church going believers that get together in someones house (usually an older couples house) to eat a bunch of food that was bought at Jewel by possibly two people out of the 80 that show up. Then after the dinner feast there is usually a good 20 min of prayer requests and 30 min of praying. After praying and many people saying "yes" the small group often shifts from the kitchen/dinning area to the living room, in order to create a comfy environment for bible studies and sharing of personal information. after a hearty dose of Jesus, they end the night in prayer and repeat this again the next week on the same day, at the same time.

pressure group

potentially any association of people with a common set of goals, who are politically active as such. However, pressure groups are usually understood to be more grassroots and issue-oriented, rather than interest-oriented (so they are not quite the same as a lobby). Hence, pressure groups are likely to include groups opposed to human rights violations and neighborhood "renewal" projects.

The London-based pressure group, Survival International, called on oil companies to immediately withdraw from Peru, describing the incident as "the Amazon's Tiananmen" and accusing security forces, who have since imposed a curfew over the region, of burying and burning corpses to hide the scale of the killing.

"Peruvian Indians are being driven to desperate measures to try to save their lands which have been stolen from them for five centuries," said the director of Survival, Stephen Corry. "This is the Amazon's Tiananmen. If it finishes the same way, it will also end Peru's international reputation."

Carrier Group

Also carrier battle group. A group of naval ships assigned travelling together, centered around an aircraft carrier. A carrier group is typically commanded by a fleet officer - a commodore or admiral.

Vice Admiral Jackson was given command of the Enterprise's carrier group, assigned to the Indian Ocean.

glock group

A flash animating group on www.newgrounds.com. They are on the same lines as the clock crew and lock legion, but instead of clocks and locks for faces, they have glock handguns. A glock character is usually an object or fruit with a glock for eyes. When one of these talks, A rotating bullet appears over their head. The glock group uses "gug" as their symbol. It has no literal meaning. Glock group is abbreviated as "GG"
