yeets origins come from a vine, in which a woman is given an empty can and she says "this bitch empty, yeet!". it is often used to describe throwing an object at a high velocity (ex: i will yeet you into outer space!)
as time went on, the definition diverged to also become somewhat of a synonym for saying yeah. (ex: "wanna play video games?" "yeet")
it wasn't long though, before darker communities took on the term yeet. it is often used by those with depression to describe the act of hurting themself. (ex: I swear I'm so upset I'm gonna yeet my arms) or sometimes to describe the a r of throwing up food (ex: I ate so much, I'm gonna yeet it all)
be careful when you use this term and be aware of the context it holds
