Led Zeppelin, arguably the greatest band of all time. Their music is amazing, but there's a lot more to them than Stairway To Heaven and Kashmir and the other songs everyone associates them with. Now, dont get me wrong, those are both amazing songs, but there's a lot more to them people should hear. People also say that young people dont appriciate their music, well, i know a 14 year old has signed it, along with a 15 and i think a 17 year old. And I'm 13 years old, and I think they're amazing. I also have a few frieds my age that listen to Led Zeppelin, along with other great bands like AC/DC, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and so much more...
I just got limewire working on my computer today and celebrated by downloading all of Led Zeppelin I and Led Zeppeling II, CD's I was originally going to spend $30 dollars on, but got em' for free.

Pros: - They truly know how to rock
- Jimmy Page is quite a guitarist, especially at that time.
- They evolved (although only slightly) over the years and become more experimental.
Cons: - Many of their famous riffs and songs are (admittedly) lifted straight from blues songs without ever giving them credit.
- Much of their music/antics are unintentionally overblown
- They paved the way for 80's hair metal, changing the way guitarists think forever.
- Their fans tend to dismiss new music of any kind, throwing around words like "talent" and saying things like "its a shame kids these days don't listen to good music", although that's not really LZ's fault...
Despite having these cons, this band has been rediculously influential over the years and pretty much shaped hard rock as we know it.
Led Zeppelin is a great cover ba-I mean, hard rock band.

the best band to ever rock the earth, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones. Led Zeppelin. better than every other band ever. I mean who would of thought that 4 men could become the gods of rock and roll

Led Zeppelin was origionally started by Jimmy Page as a supergroup and continuation of the Yardbirds. Many rumors exist about the name. Some say that other musicians said the band would take off like a lead balloon, or the music was going to be heavy and light (who knows). The members were Robert Plant (vocals/harmonica), Jimmy Page (guitar etc), John Paul Jones (base ect) and John Bonham (drums/other percussion). Each member is considered to be one of the best in their feild. The band was formed in 1969 and disbanded after Bonham's death in 1979.
Led Zeppelin was and is the best band ever. Some of their notable albums include: Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III, the contraversial Led Zeppelin IV, Coda, Physical Graffiti, Houses of the Holy and This Song Remains the Same. Their best known song is Stairway to Heaven (I havn't been able to find any hidden satanic meanings)

A band that exceeds and defines perfection.
Never will any band emerge that can compare to the musical revelation this band has created.
All notable music that is worth listening to has roots that lead to this band.
They didnt fade away, even after the band halted, they still live on in all other music.
Calling Led Zeppelin overrated is saying that everyone loves them except you, thus indicating there success.
There is a reason that the people who call Led Zeppelin overrated have more thumbs down then Bush Supporters.

a largely influential Band from 1968-1980. They played in a variety of styles of music blues, rock, folk and many more unlike most bands. Some people dislike Robert Plants vocals saying that his voice is girly but is it really when compared to emo music. At least Robert Plant doesnt sing in monotone like most metal, punk, and 3rd wave ska bands ive heard. People say they dont like Zeppelin because they covered many songs on there first album of other artists then didnt give the credit this is because they didnt think Zeppelin would be a success they were just finishing up The Yardbirds tour after The Yardbirds broke up. Plus how many other musicians have covered songs on their cds Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Pressely, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and many more. Some people think that they only have a couple of a good songs a "one hit wonder" but when i listen to their albums there arnt any songs i dont like. Another good point about the band is that they're all really good musicians unlike Jimi Hendrix's band where he was pretty much holding up the band by himself.

Led Zeppelin is the greatest band to ever exist on this earth. Led Zeppelin is a band that makes all of today's alt. rock, ska, emo, and rap artists look like ASSES!
If you ever say anything bad about Led Zeppelin, I shall find your address, come to your house at 3 a.m., rape your eyes out, kill your dog(s), and finally, burn your house down.
