Standard English is one of three forms: Proper English, Standard English, and Common English. Until very recently, Standard English encompassed all of normally used English, however, as many forms of communicating on the internet have separated away from normal use, many of the less formal grammar styles and uses (i.e. caps lock, texting abbreviations, etc.) have been classified as Common English. However, any conversation you have with a pre-Millennial will use Standard English, even if it's "Hey, how's it going?" If you are talking to a superior, you will also be using Standard English.

A guitar tuning that consists of DADGBE, in which the Standard E tuning is dropped a full step. This tuning is used by many of today's hard rock bands, but was popularized by Creed's Mark Tremonti on 1997's hit "My Own Prison."

The traditional yet out dated form of unregulated Ro Sham Bo, also known as Standard Ro Sham Bo. It is a contest in which two guys kick each other in the nuts until there is only one left standing.
Standard RSB has been replaced by "Professional RSB"
Did you hear about John and Steve? They both liked this chic at a party and the chic found out. She laughed and told them both to RoShamBo for a hand job from her as the spoils.
They agreed, everyone in the house had to throw down a couple of bucks to watch, which went to the chic as she was using herself as the prize.
They played Standard RoShamBo because the chic demanded that standard be the game they play and neither one of them protested.
In the end Steve went down. But he did very well from having been kicked 42 times in the sack!
Afterwards, the chic took John in the room and wanked him! I don't know if the hand job was worth it!

One that feminists never mention is the way that if a guy hits a female, he's no longer human to his own sex (he never really was to opposite sex anyway, because he wasn't one of their own), and no further thought is given to the matter, but if a female stabs a guy she is with at the time with a fork or a knife in the shoulder in his sleep, saying she had a dream that he was a killer (which isn't crazy, it's someone too cowardly to attack an alert person) even the opposite sex defends her and says nobody is perfect (though females already defend themselves regardless of whether guys step in to do it, they have a built in self defense mode all the time), then tries for some reason to make things work (almost like he did something wrong), despite no indication that a relationship like that will last.
You only hear about double standards that feminists will benefit from talking about from feminists themselves.

The supposedly high standard of food, transport, shopping etc. found in Sydney, Australia. This phrase is used by up-themselves Sydneysiders (particularly of the North Shore and Eastern Suburbs varieties) who are of the opinion that nothing is as good elsewhere as it is in Sydney.
This food is not up to the Sydney Standard

Examples of double standards:
(About a male boss): "I love his take-charge attitude!"
(About a female boss): "She's such a bitch! She's probably on her period."
(About a man who has sex): "What an awesome stud/legend/boss he is!"
(About a woman who has sex): "What a disgusting slut/whore/skank she is!"
