A soulless child age 10 to 18 doomed to wander the valley searching for meaning in life. Seen wearing expensive streetware or your average thirft shop mama jeans and cap. Always smoking cigarettes with other valley kids in 7/11 parking lots or allies, flashing fake IDs or talking about those who made it out of the valley. Many try to emulate the "valley look" as its a sign of being "cool" but it's obvious who the fakers are. A real valley kid would never admit to being one...
Occasionally see them throwing signs of a side ways peace sign around their eyes, but nowadays those who do this are fakers as the trend has died.
I miss Stein, he was a true valley kid.

A shitty suburban part of the northern SD county. Built in 1974 (?), they have their own shit newspaper, some parks, a decent library, and a couple strip malls (the most popular being the 'Highlands', as the locals call it). The town is an even 10-20 or so miles across.
For the most part, rich whites/asians live on the upper half of CV and poorer middle class people live on the lower half of CV. No black people whatsoever, a decent amount of Mexicans though.
The people who live in CV tend to go to the 'Highlands' and buy useless crap and/or shoot the shit. Sometimes they walk dogs around the parks. Sometimes they just stay in their houses and get locked into the daily grind, resulting in chronic depression.
Politics in CV consists of white people running for the council and debating about the new strip mall that might be built next to the current strip mall. The people opposing the new development go on hour long rants about the extra 30 seconds of traffic they'll have to endure if it's built. The people supporting it just want another place to sit around and jerk off at.
Schools in Carmel Valley are well funded and enough rich white kids / asian kids go to them, making the schools in the area consistently rank high on national ratings.
Carmel Valley is like any other suburban California town. Not too interesting, but probably has a higher than usual suicide rate.
Carmel Valley is a great place to live if you just don't give a shit anymore and want a place to raise your asshole teenagers.

A town of about 13,000 in Marin County. A place that was once a cool hippie town (like when my dad moved here in the 70s) but is now copiously trendy (but still undeniably cool.)
In recent years, Mill Valley has become a great place to be a teenage babysitter (like myself,) because young, rich couples are reproducing at an alarming rate (just go to the Depot on a Sunday morning), the fathers are always really hott, and if you aren't too pierced or tattooed you will get many jobs, because very few teens in Mill Valley babysit. Why? Because they don't need the money.
Most teenagers in Mill Valley are quite naive and narcissistic, but some of the nicest people you will ever meet once you get to know them. Even though we are rich kids, we dress casually and your popularity usually isn't based on money, it's usually looks that matter, or personality. But don't worry, because we're all good looking and most of us have charming personalities.
Did that last sentence sound conceited? That's just the Mill Valley-ness in me.

AKA: Cops Valley
Stereotyped for being a "rich-town" which is kind of true in a way. The town is about two miles long but there is a cop everywhere you go. Don't try and smoke weed here or you will be Fu**** by the hard dick of the law. You cannot do anything wrong here without hearing something for it. A lot of gossip and rumors go down in this town mainly due to vast majority of soccer moms.

Local: Nah dude iv'e been chapped there like three times. Scotts Valley isn't chill lets mob to Santa Cruz.
