Doc block

A variation of Ccok Block: When a work group uses non-shareable documents on a network and someone has the file open when you need to make an update.

I have 5 minutes before the meeting and I need to update the PowerPoint presentation but Lisa has it open and is TOTALLY doc blocking me! I'll never be able to make the corrections now!

Also, making plans with somebody with no intention of following through with them

J: Did you just ignore that call?

Simlilar to cockblocked, this is when someone else prevents you from something benificial in or around a videogame.

My friend's workplace thumb blocked me when he promised to give me a ride to pick up Resident Evil: DS and they called him in the day of release.

That noob just thumb blocked my windstorm by winning a roll, he doesn't even need it!

I got thumb blocked when Halo 2 came out and the banks closed early.

Optic nerve blocking

To block someone/something from your field of vision. There is a possibility that you can still hear them but it comes in the form of sounds that remind you of them.

SQUIP: It's called optic nerve blocking. I have been blocking Michael from your field of vision.
