A prep (guy) is someone who wears tight polo shirts, and too much hair gel. Their egos weight more than they do, and drive nice cars that their rich parents bought them. Aged anywhere from 16 - mid 20's.
The girls aren't so bad, but they can be stuck up, high maintainence pains in the ass.
Preps don't realize how every other group of kids know that they're huge fags

Now preps are known as those chicks you would see wearing pink stuff, anything from Hollister, American Eagle, and Abercrombie and Fitch. There are some prep guys too but they are seen more as Jocks than "Preps". Now-a-days preps try to copy the punky style. (I say punk because i would say that punk is generally the overall style of "emo" and "scene". I don't believe in labels and neither should you guys.)
Anyhoo, as I was saying, preps are starting to copy that punky style (skinny-jeans, converse, studded belts, etc.) Why? Just proves to show that preps are just low-life bastards who try to fit in with society and try to be popular and hate punks and other cliches but still copy their style because they are losing their attention and popularity.

Usualy works/ Shops at Abracombie and fitch. Often hates people because of the way they dress or if they are Even slighly diffrent. Often dates Jocks or wiggers.usualy listens to POP music like britany spears or Other artists who cant go a sentence with out saying Oh my god, tottaly, or Like after most words.Preps also use those words.Are often slutty or blonde.Often stupid and airheaded.

a "prep" is not necessarily a self-centered,snobby bitch!!!!!!! true, some are, but "prep" really means that said person attends a prep school, and is therefore wealthy, smart, and most likely headed for an ivy league college and a partnership in a major company.
Molly goes to Trinity, one of the prep schools in nyc. She's really rich and smart, but actually nice!

Prep is a term that generally refers to a certain type of dress, thinking, and way of living. Generally, a preppy (the adjective version of the word) manner of dress includes pastel colors, usually matched in contrasting ways. Pink and Green are common, as are salmon, light blues, very light yellows and pale oranges. These colors are often on polo-shirts (something preps wear a great deal) and bermuda shorts. Khakis are also an integral (if not as often seen) part of a prep wardrobe.
As a style of thought, preps are generally come from a wealthy family and take great pride in this fact. Importance is placed on the company that produces their clothes, the amount of alcohol consumed in a single evening, the wealth of their mate of choice, and their ability to defy convention by wearing their color up or "popped" Many preps are considered "moochers" by both parents and associates as they very rarely work to maintain their lifestyle and instead rely on their parents to provide for them. This is almost universally true of all preps, wealthy men and women who earn their fortune are rarely ever preppy in dress or action.
Preps are regularly arrogant, vapid and shallow. They define their lives by material things and scorn those who do not follow suit. Conversation revolves around the same thing and generally only changes when their is a new party they have been to, or some other foolish and borderline hedonistic act they have participated in. Found in great supply on college campuses, much to the regret of all others.
Preps include the Forbes children, members of several fraternities and those who hold a country club membership not because of their love of golf, but because of their love of holding a country club membership.
