A mental list of people you know by sight or repeatedly pass in the course of you day yet do not know by name, but eye contact stimulates a need to acknowledge identification usually returned by identical nod. Repeated presence on list may promote to hello list or other lists. See also "fuck list", "ignore list" "shit list"). lack of reciprocity will relegate person to 'shit list' or 'bitch list'. A person may move between these lists depending on response or sexual contact.

When one lowers and raises their head quickly to a monkey, as in agreement or acknowledgement.

When you cock your head to one side, twist your your mouth to the opposite side and nod slowly. Usually accompanies a gang sign or some other ghetto hand gesture. Used mainly by rappers in their videos or by guys trying to impress the ladies.

When your homeboy looks at you from across the club. Just the eye contact is enough to ask "should I smash this chick I'm dancing with". With out saying a word you nod your head down for yes.
