Wikipedia Editors

Possibly the most sensitive group of people on the internet. They're very territorial about the stuff that they write on an article, and anyone who challenges them with corrections to something they wrote will be regarded by the website's terms as "Vandals". And they'll then try to get you banned from editing or posting anything to the site.

I once made a correction to something on Wikipedia, and the Wikipedia Editors work that I changed reported me and got me banned by claiming that I was Vandalizing the article.

When you respond to a person's status or wall post with a quote from Wikipedia relating to part of the person's post. The more obscure, the better.

(John Blumberg) you're such a gay

(Ben Jones) The term gay was originally used, until well into the mid-20th century, primarily to refer to feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy"; it had also come to acquire some connotations of "immorality" as early as 1637.1

(John Blumberg) i'm being serious, that's quite annoying

Wikipedia Trap

Failing to accomplish any significant reading on Wikipedia due to following related links, perusing only the intro to each article, and in doing so, straying far from the original topic.

I logged on to Wikipedia and searched credit default swaps. Ten minutes later I was reading about bisexuality in the 1800s. Hate the wikipedia trap.

wikipedia trip

A vortex of confusion that goes against the laws of time and space. It is the act of going on wikipedia and clicking the links inside articles and mindlessly wandering the realms of mass information to the point that you have forgotten why you wete even looking at wikipedia in the first place.

I looked up "Hotel" on wikipedia and an hour later I was viewing an article about "Kato Kaelin." That is when I asked myself "How the fuck did I get here!?" What a Wikipedia Trip!
