A term racist European Americans (white people), and those who support white supremacy, primarily members of the Republican Party, use to denigrate and belittle the skills and achievements made by non white professionals, particularly African Americans.
The term has replaced Affirmative Action, which was used by the same group in the same way.
In other words, it is propaganda that suggests all non whites in positions of authority are there because of their skin color and are thus incompetent, but all white were selected based on merit. And in the even merit, it the lack there of, was the reason for not hiring a white, or a white not being accepted into a university, then they complain and say it was because of their white race was used against them. This is how Affirmative Action was removed from college admissions. When a merit based system refused the matriculation of a white woman who was not smart enough to get in, she sued and said she was not admitted because of her race and actually won. White folks even tricked some Asian Americans into sueing to end race based college admissions, which came back to hurt them, too.
The Head of the FAA is a DEI hire and should be replaced. (Note; the head has decades of experience, degrees, was confirmed by both parties unanimously, and just happens to be a woman of African American decent. Her replacement is white, doesn't have a PhD, has 3 months experience, was previously not confirmed by the sanate because of a lack of experience and does not have the necessary skill sets for the position, but is white and male.)
In the past, any Black person in a position of authority was called an Affirmative Action hire. Now they are called a DEI hire and are being replaced with WEI hires, white, entitled and Incompetent.

To say that DEI is "equality of outcome" is 1. To create an implicit false dichotomy between 'Equality of outcome' and 'Meritocracy' and 2. Presupposes that the latter is what is currently occurring.

The claim is 'If we do DEI, people will achieve an undeserved outcome at the cost of the meritorious' but the statement presupposes that MERIT BASED HIRING is what is occurring and ignores entirely that outcomes are ALSO mediated by CRONYISM and NEPOTISM. So, my question to Dr. RAPE-FARM is... If DEI is wrong being Equality of outcome leads meritorious people to miss out on opportunities they deserve more than the people being elevated... How is Nepotism any different? Is it just a coincidence? That the child of the business owner is just the super-duper most bestest employee who workered his way up from the bottom like a real boy OR did the PARENT... EQUALIZE THEIR KIDS OUTCOME AT THE COST OF EVERYONE ELSE? And how is it not wrong for the same reason?
