A game of words, were one person sets up another to end up saying the phrase "Dis Dick".

A dog who is clearly very attached to his male owner; in the case of a dog owned by a male-female couple, a dog who prefers the company of the male.

As usual, Rover snuggled up next to George, causing George's wife Rita to comment that their dog was clearly a real di-lover.
